Kyiv, June 4, 2009, - Astra Airlines, the Greek operator performed its first flight from Saloniki to Kyiv.
At Boryspil airport, the crew and first passengers were congratulated by the airport officials on opening a new route from Europe to Ukraine. Astra airlines is going to perform flight AZI200/201 once a week on Thursdays en-route Saloniki – Boryspil. Planned arrival and departure times are 16:00 and 17:00 correspondingly. From July 6, 2009, flights will be also accomplished on Mondays with arrival time of 15:35 and departure time of 16:35 using aircraft of BAe146-300 type (composition of 112 economic class seats). Airport always welcomes the appearance of the new airlines and tries to create the best conditions for adapting of new operators at Boryspil Airport and its activities broadening in the future. Reference: Astra Airlines is an operator based at Saloniki airport. Its fleet consists of 2 aircraft of BAe146-300 type. The operator waits for the coming of B-737 aircraft. |
